Episode 2
Inuyasha steps up to Kagome and demands that she give him the Shikon no
Tama. Kaede tells Kagome not to give it to Inuyasha. Kagome runs away
but
Inuyasha follows in hot pursuit. The villagers try to stop Inuyasha by
firing their arrows, but they have no effect on Inuyasha. Kaede then
takes
out a bead necklace she then sends the beads at Inuyasha which reform
as a
necklace around Inuyasha's neck. Kaede tells Kagome that it will work
to
restrain Inuyasha but only if she says a word to restrain him. Baffled
by
that, Kagome continues to run away but trips off a small cliff and the
Shikon no Tama rolls on to a bridge. Inuyasha goes after the Shikon no
Tama,
but Kagome stops him by simply yelling, "Sit". It command causes
Inuyasha to
fall straight down, just an inch from the Shikon no Tama. Inuyasha gets
up
and finds he is unable to take the necklace off, he then threatens to
kill
Kaede. But before he can act on it, Kagome tells him sit and he falls
again,
but this time the force is too much for the bridge, so he falls into
the
river below.
The next day, the villagers are repairing houses from the mononoke's
attacks. In Kaede's hut, Kaede tells Kagome that all kinds of evil will
be
after the Shikon no Tama. Inuyasha finds out that he has been sealed
for 50
years and Kikyo died after she sealed. Later on, while Kagome and
Inuyasha
are having lunch, Kagome tells Inuyasha that he shouldn't hate her
because
she isn't Kikyo. Inuyasha gets a little annoyed by that and jumps up
onto a
tree branch. Kagome then tells him that he should be nicer to her.
Inuyasha
says he won't because he'll show no mercy in getting the Shikon no
Tama.
Kagome is amused by that because she can stop him by simply saying
"sit".
That night, Inuyasha scares away a demon crow who has detected the
Shikon no
Tama with Kagome.
The next morning, Kagome takes a walk in the woods and is captured by a
group of thieves. The thieves then take her to their leader, who is
after
the Shikon no Tama. Kagome refuses to, but two of the thieves hold her
while
the boss takes out his sword to kill her. But he accidentally kills one
of
the thieves holding Kagome. This scares the others and they all start
running from their master. Two of them push Kagome towards him telling
that
this is the girl he needs to kill. The boss swings, but Kagome and the
thieves duck. The boss starts swinging wildly and starts to destroy
their
hideout. He exit is soon blocked trapping them all inside. Kagome then
throws the Shikon no Tama outside the hut to get the boss away from
them.
Just as the master is about to swing at Kagome, Inuyasha enters and the
blade is broken on his clothing. Inuyasha knocks the boss down. The
other
thieves then escape. Inuyasha asks Kagome if the Shikon no Tama is
safe. She
just starts laughing nervously. The boss gets up and his chest plate
breaks
and reveals a whole in his chest where the demon crow has burrowed.
Inuyasha
chases the crow out by sticking his hand into the boss' chest. The crow
flies out of the hut and snatches the Shikon no Tama in his mouth.
Inuyasha and Kagome charge out of the hut. Inuyasha notices a bow and
arrow
on a horse. Kagome w/ bow in hand jumps on Inuyasha's back and they
chase
after the crow. Inuyasha tells Kagome to shoot the crow. Kagome gets
annoyed
that Inuyasha want's her do such an impossible task. The crow then
swallows
the Shikon no Tama. Kagome shoots the arrow which falls to the ground
before
it can hit the crow. The crow then grows and Kagome shoots again, but
it
falls again. Inuyasha drops Kagome off and tells her that she couldn't
be
Kikyo's reincarnation since she can't shoot an arrow. He then runs off
telling her to never bother him again. The crow comes across a
riverside
village and picks up a boy. Inuyasha saves the boy by using his Soul
Shattering Iron Claw (Sankontetsou), the boy and pieces of the crow
fall
into the river. Kagome goes into the lake and saves the boy, but thanks
to
the Shikon no Tama, the pieces of crow reform to make the demon. Kagome
then
notices that the crows foot is still attached to the boy. She ties the
foot
to an arrow and shoots it at the crow. The foot attaches but the arrow
pierces the Shikon no Tama and it shatters into hundreds of pieces that
scatter around all of the Japan. Later, when Kagome and Inuyasha are
looking
for where the Shikon no Tama went, the head of the crow comes flying at
the,
Inuyasha slashes it and a Shikon shard falls to the ground, Kagome
picks it
up and realizes what she's done.
