Gurcharan Virk, Today every Punjabi music lover knows this name. He has written many Famous Punjabi Songs. His Songs have been sung by all the small and big Punjabi singers He
was born in a poor family of village Arayan wala kalan . He completed basic
schooling from village and college study from Govt. Barjindra College ,Faridkot.
He has made his family proud in the society. He
has a long list of hits to his credit. His mega hits are 'Chunni
naal Patase ', 'Teri Yaad Chandriye' ,'Ih Uh Kuri see...' etc.
In
his songs where we can see his love towards village , he has also described village
's condition and situation too.
His
songs have made him and name of arayan wala famous too . I
remember when i joined engineering college in bathinda , most of my seniors already knew
my village due to his songs . In
these days , he is living in Sector 35 D, Chandigarh .I wish may his all dreams
come true and May he live long !
