~Fireflies~
 

Have you ever seen fireflies
In the eve of summer nights?
Fluttering here and there
Adorning their golden lights?

Have you ever seen children running
Chasing these golden things?
Trying to capture their 'nightlight'
These golden lights with wings!

Have you seen them in the nightime
Crossing a starry sky?
Filling it with such beauty
That captures every eye.

So the next you see the firefly
On some hot midsummers' night...
Go back and remember their magic
Let the child in you take flight.
