~The Forest~
Take a walk with me
into the forest
Into a world of such
beauty so rare
Into streams of water
shimmering in sunlight
Where the sounds of
nature fill the air.
Where moss is like
green velvet
Where water is pure
and clear
Where sunshine warms
the very soul
in all you see and
hear.
Trees waving in the
summer breeze
Rocks glistening beneath
your feet
As you gaze at mountains
around you
while you breathe
in smells so sweet.
Daffodils rising in
their glory
Honeysuckle like rare
perfume
This is the beauty
of the forest
Where all of nature
blooms.
The sounds of the birds
singing
as their little ones
look around
A deer passes silently
by
Such beauty without
a sound.
These are the beautys
of nature
A healing balm for
you and me
So take your cares
and go there
for true beauty is
always free.
