You've got MAIL??????

I woke up this morning
   Rubbed the sleep from my eyes
When I turned on the puter
Boy-whatta suprise!!!!

I'd just checked email
And what did I see
I didn't have email??!
Now how could that be????

I stumble to the kitchen
Grab the Folgers and cup
I think again "No email!?"
Now "somethin is up!!"

I thought I wrote Suzie!!
Or was that name Joe???
I remembered some others
Or was that two days ago?!?

I look in my mail file
To make sure it was right
Yep there's NO email
Dear ME-whatta fright!??!

I started to cry
NO!!-- I started to WAIL!!!!
How could this be??
Not ONE lousy mail?!??

I knocked the coffee over
Watched it dribblin down..
The cat turned and ran
Wasn't stickin around..

I mumbled and moaned
And got up for a few
Then wiped up the coffee
Thinkin "What can I DO??"

I sat back down and pondered
All these  PEOPLE I know!!!
Then searched for my forwards
Now where did THEY go!??

I then see a notice
From my server to say
"Working on server-
" Mail may be delayed".
 

I was never so relieved
That my server had failed!!
So don't start to panic
If you don't see "You've Got MAIL!!"
