RICHARD HARVEY - Assistant Varsity Coach, Quarterbacks & Inside Linebackers Coach Coach Harvey comec to Rochelle as a first year coach on the football staff for the DeKalb school System where he has coach football from the 8th grade level up to the varsity level. He also enjoyed great success as an Assistant and Varsity Head Coach of the Wrestling Program in DeKalb. Richard attend high school at Mt. Zion where he enjoyed a lot of success as a football player (State record holder in 7 categories), as a wrestler he was an 3 time state qualifier, and he was also an elite member of his schools baseball team. He attended college at Milikin University where he plyed football and was amember of the Wrestling team. He continued his success while at Milikin on the both the football field and on the wresttling mat. Coach Harvey was inducted into the Athletic Hall of fame for Football and was also a 3 time National Qualifier for the wrestling team. When he was not busy with athletics he took time to earn his Bachelors of Sicence in education and then he received his Master of Science in Education and Administration form NIU. Richard is Employed by RTHS as the Assistant Principal. Mr. Harvey resides inthe area with his wife Staci and his 3 children Alex, Ben & Anna. |
BRIAN WORTHINGTON – Assistant Varsity Coach, Inside Linebacker Coach , Sophomore QB/RB Coach, Sophomore Offensive Line Coach, Sophomore Defensive Line Coach, Sophomore Offensive Coordinator Coach Worthington will be entering his 14th season with the Hubs Program. He has been the Head Sophomore Coach the past seven seasons and before that he served, as Assistant Varsity Coach were he coached the OL/DL positions. Other Coaching experience at RTHS includes, former assistant wrestling Coach for four years. Brian also teaches English at RTHS and has been teaching and coaching for 14 years. Brian graduated from Yorkwood (Monmouth) High School in 1986. He then graduated from Knox College in 1990 with his B.A. in English Literature. Brian is also a four-year Letterman at Knox College where he played Defensive Lineman on the Football team. Other education for Coach Worthington includes an M.S.ed from Northern Illinois University. |

CHRIS LEWIS – Assistant Head Coach, Defensive Coordinator, Outside Linebackers, and Offensive Line
Coach Lewis will be starting his 7th season as a member of the Hubs coaching staff. Coach Lewis is also the Shot put and Discus Coach for the Hubs Track Team, and he teaches Conditioning PE at RTHS. He is also the Hub Power Coordinator, which is the summer strength and conditioning program for the high school athletic department. Prior to coaching at Rochelle, Coach Lewis was an assistant at Defiance College and Western Illinois University. While at WIU his team was ranked in the top 10, won the conference championship, and qualified for the 1AA playoffs. Coach Lewis attended high school at Northmont High School in Dayton, Ohio. After high school Coach Lewis attended college at Defiance College in Defiance, Ohio where he graduated in 1998 with his B.S. At Defiance Coach Lewis was an Offensive Lineman on the Defiance College football team. Chris also has a Master’s Degree from WIU in physical education and also completed his masters study from Aurora University in Education. |
Vic Worthington - Freshman Defensive Backs, Running backs and Long Snappers. Coach Worthington eneters his 4TH season with the Hubs Coaching Staff. Previous coaching expirence consists of 6 yrs. as the Rochelle middle School 7th grade basket ball coach whwere he compiled a career record of 134-46, 3yrs as RTHS boys track coach, and 1 yr as RMS 8th grade girls Volleyball coach. Vic graduated from Taylor Univesity in 1997 with a BA in Communications, While at taylor he was a memeber of the football team. He was a co-captain, and a 3 year starter as a long snapper. Coach Worthington is employed by the Rochelle Middle School as a Language arts Teacher for the 6th grade. He has also been a substitute teacher for the past 2 1/2 years Vic and his wife Melody reside in Rochelle where she teaches Health and PE at RMS and is a coach of 3 sports. Together they coached 7th grade girls basketball, as well as playing co-ed volleyball and softball in park district leagues. Vic is also a proud Uncle to Head Sophomore Football Coach Brian Worthington's children. |
ADRIAN SMITH – Assistant Sophomore Coach, Sophomore Defensive Coordinator, Varsity/Soph Runningback Coach, Soph LB Coach Coach Smith is entering his 8th season with the Hubs Football Program. Other coaching responsibilities at RTHS include assisting with the Winter and Summer Hub Power conditioning program. Coach Smith is also the Head Coach for the Girls Sophomore Softball team at RTHS. Adrian also teaches Biology at RTHS. After graduating high school from Eisenhower High School in 1995, he attended Millikin University where he graduated in 2000 with a B.S. in Biology. Adrian also played quarterback on the football team as well as out fielder on the baseball team at Millikin University. |
KEVIN CRANDALL – Head Varsity Coach, Offensive Coordinator, DB & QB Coach
Coach Crandall is entering his 14th season as the head coach of the Hubs Football Program. In his thirteen years as the Hubs head coach his teams have made it to the State Playoffs a total of ten times. With four of those being a Second Round appearance's in 1999 & 2003, 2004, 2005 & 2006 and three of them being Semi Final appearances in 1998, 2001 & 2002. The Hubs were NCIC South West Conference Champions eight years with 35 consecutive conference wins and seven consecutive Conference Championships.. Coach Crandall has a record over the last eight years of 83-21 for a winning percentage of .799 and has established an overall record of 99-42 for a .702 winning percentage as Head Coach of the Hubs Football Program. Kevin is the Athletic Director and Activities Director at RTHS. Before coming to RTHS Coach Crandall started his career as an Assistant Coach at Centralia High School and then as Head Coach at Bethany High School where his record was 9-10 and his team made one playoff appearance and at Villa Grove High School where his record was 32-20 and his teams made the playoffs three times with one of them being a 2A Quarter Finals finish in 1990. Coach Crandall's Lifetime Career coaching record is 140-72 with a winning percentage of .66 8 Kevin graduated from Tremont High School in 1981 and then attended Millikin University where he graduated with his B.S. in 1985. He also received his M.S. in Educational Administration from Eastern Illinois University in 1994. |

Jeff Boyer – Head Sophomore Coach Coach Boyer joins the Hubs Football Program for his 4rd year. Other coaching responsibilities will also be as a Sophomore Baseball Coach. Mr. Boyer will also be teaching Mathematics at RTHS. Jeff attended high school at Byron High School where he graduated in 2000. While at Byron he as a member of the 1999 class 3A State Football Championship team and was honored as an All-Conference player in 1998-99. As a member of the wrestling team he was honored as an All-Conference wrestler in 1999 while being the State Class A Runner-Up, and in was named All-State in 2000 and accomplished a 3rd place finish at 140# at the State Meet in 2000. After a very successful High School career he attended Augustanna College where he a Degree in Secondary education and Mathematics. While at Augustanna he played football in 2000 and played on the baseball team from 2001-2004 and was named to the 2nd Team All Conference (CCIW). Coach Boyer looks forward to his first year at RTHS. |

KYLE KISSACK - Varsity/Sophomore Assistant Coach, Sophomore QB Coach, Varsity D-Line Coach, Special Teams Coordinator This is Coach Kissack's first seson with the Hubs Coaching staff and is employed at RTHS as a Health Education Teacher. Kyle is a 1999 Grdauate of RTHS, while at Rochelle Kyle had a stellar football career, he was a memver of the 1998 Semi-Final team, he was the 1998 Hacket Award Winner, he participated in the 1998 east-West Shrine game, he was the 1998 All Area Player of the Year, and he was also a 1998 All Conference award winner for offense, defense and special teams. He was also a member of the RTHS Track team where he was a state qualifier in the 400M, and also a member of the 1600M Relay Team and the school record holder. He was also All conference in Track. After high school Coach Kissack attended EIU where he was a Quarterback on the football team, a 2002 All Academic All Conference and member of the EIU Footbal Unity Council. His studies included Health Education While at EIU. In 2007 he earned his Matsers in Educational Administration. Prior to coming to Rochelle Kyle spent one year at Woodstock high school as an Assistant Sophomore Football Coach, and 3 years at Sullivan High School where he was a Varsity assistant Coach, Head Junior Varsity Coach and the Head Track Coach. |
NICK REINECK - Assistant Freshman Quarterback & Defensive Backs Coach, This is Coach Reinick's first season with the Hubs Football Staff. Nick is a graduate of RTHS where he participated in Football, Baseball, Basketball and Baseball. Nick Attended College at Augustana where he was a member of the football team, he transfered form there to Knox College and studied Social Studies as a major and a secondary in Basketball and Baseball. This will be Nick's Second year as a RTHS Basketball Coach and as an Assistant Varsity Basketball Coach. |
