Everybody was happy to line up to have photographs taken, but getting everyone to look at the camera at the same time, was more difficult. Grade 1 are in the foreground of this photograph. Many of the children had a uniform of a blue skirt and white or blue shirt for girls and blue shirt and grey trousers for boys. The toilet block is the small building behind the group. It does not work any more.
