To Begin Anew
by Pam Howerton
I long for Spring
with gentle rains,
The warm moist drops
gracing window panes.
The time when Winter
bids us adieu,
When God invites us
to begin anew.
Doth thou Spring
in Winter lie,
Waiting for the
cold to die?
Holding for that
promised cue,
From Mother Earth
to begin anew?
