People who follow Shaytan
"Satan found them readily fulfilling his expectations. They followed him, except a few believers" [34:20]
Whoah!?! Readily fulfilling his expectations? Which one of us would want to do that? No one. Fact is, we do.. Think about every single thing that we do that displeases Allah (SWT). Every single thing that we do that has been forbidden by Allah (SWT). {i.e. bad music, bad T.V shows, mean remarks to our siblings..} OH THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT SHAYTAN WANTS AND EXPECTS.
"Some He guided, while others are committed to straying. They have taken the devils as their masters, instead of God, yet they believe they are guided [7:30]
"His power is limited to those who choose him as their master, those who choose him as their god" [16:100]
Oh don't worry, none of us choose him as our master...right? THINK AGAIN. Just because you're not labeled as the follower of a devil..doesn't mean that you aren't acting as a slave to him. Shaytan is continuously whispering "Just do it" "No one sees you" 'Pray later" "If you do this..reward will be great..EVERYONE will love you" "Just this once, do what you feel" "Your mom doesn't control you, tell her NO" "WHO CARES"...and what are we doing? we are 'just doing it, praying later, caring that everyone LOVES us, doing what we feel, and telling our moms NO' every day..WOW-we are doing EXACTLY what shaytan is asking us to do. Does that not make him our master?
"Did I not covenant with you, o children of Adam, that you shall not worship the devil? That he is your most ardent enemy?" [36:60]
Don't worship your enemy. HE TRULY is our enemy. We should SHUN him and his every wish. But do we?
"You (Satan) may entice them with your voice, and moiblize all your forces and all your men against them, and share in their money and children, and promise them. Anything the devil promises is no more than an illusion" [17:64]
'Anything the devil promises-is no more than an illusion....'
"The devil has possessed them, and has caused them to disregard God's message. These are the party of the devil. Absolutely, the party of the devil are the losers" [58:19]
Those who listen to the devil are LOSERS [No, this isn't your best friend saying 'you're a loser', it isn't your mom or dad.--- Allah (SWT) is saying this]
Satan will DISOWN his followers after the day of JUDGEMENT
"And the devil will say, after the day of judgment had been issued, 'God has promised you the truthful promise, and I promised you, but I broke my promise. I had no power over you; I simply invited you, and you accepted my invitation. therefore, do not blame me, and blame only yourselves. My complaining cannot help you, nor can your complaining help me. I have disbelieved in your idolizing me. The trangressors have sustained a painful retribution" [14:22]
Shaytan will not help you at the end.
"it is the devil's system to instill fear into his subjects. Do not fear them and fear me instead, if you are believers." [3:175]
