Something about me

Just back from my first aerobatic flight - May 13, 2005 (Friday)

I was born on 10th May 1983 in Brescia and since the beginning I put my oldies into trouble having been born two months before I was expected to. I live in Ghedi (for all the rugby fanatics reading this, my town lies at a stone's throw from Calvisano, local Temple of Rugby) and I am currently attending the Sacred Heart University in Brescia (Foreign Languages and Literatures). My hobbies are reading (Hemingway above all), practising sports, and obviously informatics. Sometimes I enjoy writing poetry: I will put a piece in the “Poetry” section once in a while, together with others written by more famous (and more skilled) authors. Another passion of mine is music (of all kinds).

I am very keen on aviation history, so I have chosen to dedicate part of the site to it: living not far from a military airport, I fell under the spell of “man’s oldest dream”, studying in depth various aspects of the matter, as appears from the page I devoted to the “History of the Ghedi Aerodrome”, and as will be noticeable in the future.

Cheers,
Gian
