Changing the
X,Y positions of the squadrons
After you have finished inputting the new "airbase
ID", click on the TAB to the
left of the Squadron Page, called Unit Properties. The
window will look like this:

In the two fields I've circled, you should type in the
new coordinates of the base
that you are moving the squadron to. The X,Y coordinates
are listed in the
reference sheet I attached, beside the ID# for each base.
If you wished to move
the A10 squadron to Seoul, for example, in the Squadron
Page you would have
input Airbase ID# 1056, and on this page, you would put
in the Dest X,Y as
452 for X, and 401 for Y. Next, you are going to click on
the "Base Object" Tab,
and do the same thing, by inputting the new X,Y coords.

Type in the SAME coords here, as you did in the
"Unit Properties" TAB.
Review your changes in the three TABS, ensure they are
correct, then you can
press OK. If you are happy with your changes, then you
can save the campaign file,
by going to file:save. In order for your changes to
happen, you will have to go into
Falcon 4, re-load the respective campaign, save it, then
re-load it a 2nd time for your
changes to take effect. If you move the A10 squadron to
Seoul, but the ATO already had
missions taking off from Osan, they will continue to take
off from Osan, but all newly
created flights will take off from the new base you
selected.
You can use this same procedure to move any unit in the
theater to any location you desire.
In an upcoming tutorial, I will explain how to transform
any unit type into another unit
type, so that you can, for example, change that F117
squadron into a B1 squadron,
or change that ROK AAA KS-200 unit into a Patriot missile
batallion.
Good luck, and have fun!
