I thought you were curious to know who is behind these pages...

First of all I'd like to beg your pardon for my bad English and I hope you will find here and in the rest of my Web site very few mistakes.

Up to now you only know my name, Paola, now I'd like to tell you more about me and my family. In the picture you can see me together with my daughter Lisa (6 years old), she is my main achievement, my husband, Paolo, and I really love her!

Back to me: I'm 40 years old and I live with my family in a little town, Novara, in the North of Italy. I'm mathematics graduate and I work as an ICT expert in a big Italian telecommunication company.

I'm being a Roger Moore fan since I was a teenager. I was very impressed by "The Saint", he looks so nice, he has a lot of charm, personality and class, but I like very much him also in his 40s and 50s, especially as James Bond.

Some years ago my attention moved to another great man, the actor/singer David Hasselhoff, he is American so, from one side, very different from the English gentleman Roger Moore, but I found that they have a lot of think in common, check my site about Mr Hasselhoff to find what ;-)

In that period I started learning about the web technology and so I spent a lot of energy to make that site, now I just decided that my so long, and never stopped, interest in Roger Moore deserves a web site too... and here it is!

I have not enought time to keep a "News" section updated, so for this kind of information refer to the Offitial Web site I linked on the Home Page.

As a lot of David Hasselhoff fans and David Hasselhoff himself like my "DH's Page by Paola" site I decided to use the same look for the Roger Moore one, hope also the Roger Moore fans and maybe Roger Moore himself will like it. The look of my sites is a sort of personal mark ;-)

Penso che siate curiosi di sapere chi c'è dietro a queste pagine...

Bene eccomi qui, mi chiamo Paola e nella foto mi vedete con mia figlia Lisa (6 anni). Io e mio marito Paolo la adoriamo e siamo convinti che lei sia la cosa più bella che ci poteva capitare.

Ma torniamo a me: ho 40 anni e vivo con la mia famiglia a Novara (in Piemonte). Sono laureata in matematicae lavoro in una azienda di telecomunicazioni.

Sono una fan di Roger Moore da quando facevo le scuole medie. Tutto è cominciato vedendo il telefilm "Stop ai Fuorilegge", Roger Moore è perfetto per il ruolo del Santo con i suoi modi eleganti ed il suo charm, però mi piace anche negli anni seguenti, specialmente come James Bond.

Qualche anno fa la mia attenzione si è spostata su un altro uomo eccezionale, l'attore/cantante David Hasselhoff, lui è americano perciò per certi versi molto diverso dal gentleman inglese Roger Moore, però io ho trovato molti punti in comune tra loro due, se volete provare a trovarli anche voi andate a visitare le mie pagine su di lui.

In quel periodo stavo studiando la tecnologia che c'è dietro alle pagine web e così ho messo molto del mio tempo libero e delle mie energie per costruire quel sito, adesso mi sono resa conto che il mio interesse per Roger Moore che dura da così tanto tempo si merita un sito anche lui ed eccolo qua.

Non ho abbastanza tempo per mantenere aggiornata una sezione con le News perciò per questo vi prego di far riferimento al sito ufficiale che ho linkato nella Home Page.

A molti fan di David Hasselhoff e a lui stesso è piaciuto molto il sito "DH's Page by Paola" perciò ho deciso di utilizzare la stessa grafica anche per il sito di Roger Moore, sperando che anche ai suoi fan piaccia... e magari anche a lui. L'aspetto di un sito è un po' come un marchio di fabbrica ;-)
