World Congress of Chess Composition 2007
Announcement about change of venue
We are sorry to announce that because of unsolved
organizational problems this year's WCCC will NOT be held in Bulgaria.
The new host of the 2007 Congress will be Greece, with Harry Fougiaxis
as chief organizer.
More information about the exact time, venue, prices
etc. will follow by the end of March (the unofficial estimation: early
October on one of the famous Greek islands).
We feel
lucky to be able to find a quick and reliable solution in a place where
the climate is suitable for a late-autumn meeting (this might be needed
because of the late start).
Harry Fougiaxis has proven
himself as excellent organizer, so we can expect a successful 50th
jubilee PCCC meeting in Greece.
