Andrew Brown:

He'd Kill For A Nobel Peace Prize

He was born on April 29, 1985 in Vancouver, British Columbia.  He was a small town boy with big dreams.  Yes, Andrew Brown believed himself destined for greatness.  The events of Andrew's life up until grade four are shrouded in mystery.  In grade four however, Andrew's friend, Kurt Stiller, succeeded in bringing out Andrew's long dormant sense of humour.  With Kurt's help, Andrew started down a road of jokes, laughs, and silliness.  It was this road, that would later bring him to tears.

Andrew soon shed his 'quiet boy' identity and became known as the class clown.  The next few years would bring many emotions for Andrew.  Love, hate, heartbreak, sorrow, and happiness.  Through his elementary school years, Andrew often found himself in the middle of fist fights and shameful pranks.  Though he feared the trouble he would get in, he could not help but love the thrill that misbehaving and rebellion would give him. But as Andrew grew, he started to mature, ever so slightly.  This maturity would cause Andrew frustration and anger, as he became more and more aware of how he appeared to others.

In his lifetime, Andrew would be complimented on his outrageous humour, but by the time he was in grade nine, Andrew was losing self esteem.  Andrew had auditioned for his school play, Peter Pan.  He obtained the role of Captain Hook and was thrilled at the opportunity to become a better actor than his brother had been.  When the play was over and finished with, Andrew received a video of the play.  He watched with a tingling sensation which suddenly turned to horror. He had been sharply pulled into reality, from his daydreams and ambitions and unfortunately for the acting community, Andrew began to see himself as he truly was.  His despair and depress hit rock bottom, and his self esteem was completely diminished.  Andrew saw only one way out of the depression....Suicide.

The days turned to weeks, and the weeks to months but Andrew went on living.  Every night, he wished that he was dead, but Andrew never took his life.  It was impossible for him to do so.  And the world wept with joy that Andrew did not kill himself.  For within a few years, Andrew began to affect the people he met.  Two web sites grew from his fingers and traces of Andrew Brown were suddenly found on the internet.  Cartoons appeared on his sites, and then stories.  Drawings and pictures and comments flooded his sites and they overflowed onto other sites.  At first, Andrew glowed with pride at his creations, and wanted to be seen and heard, and admired by everyone.  But once he had taken up the spotlight, Andrew began to loath it.  He began to fear the eyes of others.  If asked to repeat something amusing he had once done, Andrew would blatantly refuse, and often become bitter and angered.  Andrew was forced into the next year's school play by those around him, despite his new found hatred for the spotlight.  When he sought comfort in the fact that they wanted him in the play because he was talented, his drama teacher made it clear to him that he was auditioned only because he was the only person who looked right for the part.  Considering that his role was a fat drunken old man, one can see why Andrew was becoming more depressed and exiled.

Andrew played his role in the play anyway, and did not complain.  He grew out his hair and beard as he was instructed, and soon became rugged and disgruntled.  His anger began to come quicker and sharper than it ever had before.  And suddenly, Andrew snapped.
