Wario claims to be one of Mario childhood-friends and says that he have come back for revenge cause he blames Mario for mobbing him when they were young! In Super Mario Land 2 he took over Mario´s castle but Mario took in back and the funny thing is that in Wario Land the player must help Wario to get enough money so that he can buy himself a castle of his own. Depending on how much treasures and money Wario can collect in Wario Land he can get everything. In Wario Land 2 (GB) and in the old Virtual Boy game with the same name Wario he has got the lead role as well. This year, Wario is back in Wario Land 3. This time, the "W" finds a music box inside a cave, and is promptly whisked inside. In order for Wario to escape, he must search through more than 25 levels to find stolen items originally belonging to the reigning deity of the music box. Just like in Wario Land 2, Wario cannot die. Instead, certain enemies/power-ups will cause Wario to transform, giving him special abilities, or taking him to another part of the level. Also, you'll see different enemies at different times of the day or night.
