The final version. Taylor had made two versions of the spindles on top of the case.
Here is another one Taylor did. This one came to us in pieces. Someone had been into it with a hot glue gun making a big ineffective mess. I offered this woman quite a bit of money for the box of kindling but she didn't bite. I should say that she was very wise to have the work done instead. She was teary when I delivered it. There is no better payment!
This is better viewed with a penny in one hand. I made this drill to do a difficult job for a long time client. For those interested in engineering... Andrew! The drill punched a hole within 3% of it's diameter. ;^) Any guesses as to the measurment?
This is my low temperature differential Stirling engine. I can't count the number of hours that went into it... I've convieniently forgotten... <g>
