Television and Ivan Sergei seem to go together as well as bread and butter. Ivan's first memorable television appearance was in the made-for-TV-movie Mother, May I Sleep With Danger?" opposite Tori Spelling. In Cananda, his claim to fame was playing a character named Mac Ramsey, a quick-talking, karate chopping, gun-toting James Bond for the 90's, in the television series "John Woo's Once A Thief." Other credits include If Someone Had Known; Bionic Ever After; and The Rockford Files. He has made guest appearances on such popular shows such as Touched By An Angel, Cybil, Party of Five, and Kindred: The Embraced.
His most recent popular film was The Opposite of Sex, portraying the object of Dedee Truitt's (Christina Ricci's) affection, as a character who isn't exactly the brightest crayon in the box, if you know what I mean.
Upcoming independant films starring Ivan include Playing Mona Lisa and We Met on the Vineyard. More information about these movies to appear soon.
Besides working, Ivan has several out-of-film hobbies. These include such things as writing and photography, for which he has set up a dark room in his house.
Wondering where you can catch Ivan now? Check out the TV show Jack&Jill at nine o'clock, Sundays, on The WB.
