Aeris:

Aeris is a below average Rampart hero.


     Alagar:

Alagar is an average Rampart hero, but at the beginning of a game in any size of map he can
be very useful with his powerful Ice Bolt.


     Clancy:

Clancy is an above average Rampart hero.  His specialty hastens the speed of Unicorns, a
great advantage in all maps.


     Coronius:

Though his specialty would make one believe otherwise at first sight, Coronius is a below
average Rampart hero.  Scholar is weak and Slayer is only useful during certain battles.


     Elleshar:

Elleshar is one of the best Rampart heroes.  Above that, he's also one of the best spellcasting
heroes in the game.


     Gem:

Gem is an above average Rampart hero, one of the few heroes that can actually benefit
from the First aid tent.


     Ivor:

Ivor is an above average Rampart hero.  If you want to focus on the destructive power of Elves,
he is the hero you need.  Very powerful if you have a good supply of Elves and in small maps,
Ivor is not a good hero if you only have small amounts of Elves.


     Jenova:

Jenova is a below average Rampart hero, though she can lead detachments of Elves very well
in small maps.  Her specialty makes her a valuable supporting hero in all maps.


     Kyrre:

Kyrre is one of the better heroes of the Rampart.  Her Archery is not that useful to Rampart
troops but her specialized Logistics is incredible.


     Malcolm:

Malcolm is the worst Rampart hero and one of the worst heroes in the game.


     Melodia:

The effects of Melodia's Luck and Fortune are very random, so she is a below average Rampart
hero.


     Mephala:

Mephala is one of the best Rampart heroes, and she is also the second best defensive hero
in the game.


     Ryland:

Ryland is an above average Rampart hero.  Unfortunately his great skills are overshadowed a
bit by his weaker specialty.


     Thorgrim:

The Resistance hero Thorgrim is one of the only heroes where Resistance is not a bad thing
to have.  He actually is one of the better heroes of the Rampart since spellcasting against
him is particulary hard.


     Ufretin:

Ufretin is a below average Rampart hero.


     Uland:

Uland is certainly not a bad Rampart hero, but his Ballistics is not that useful for Rampart
troops.  His Advanced Wisdom gives him a lead start but this advantage only weighs heavily
in small maps.
