Praise be to the Name of Jesus. After He died for you and me on the cross, and was raised from the dead, He returned to heaven and sat down at the right hand of God. "Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the Name which is above every name, that at the Name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God, the Father." (Phillipians 2:9-11 NKJV).

God showed forth the greatness of His power in the resurrection of His Son. "Which He worked in Christ when He raised Him form the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the age which is to come. And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him, who fills all in all." (Ephesians 1:20-23 NKJV).

"I have been crucified with Christ: it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me." (Galatians 2:20 NKJV) It is Christ who is living in us now since we have accepted His Lordship over our lives. We were crucified with Christ, we died to sin. We died to sickness and disease. We died to poverty. We died to the curse of the law. Christ Jesus now lives in us. Our life is hidden in Christ. "But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is sitting at the right hand of God." (Ephesians 2:4-6; Colossians 3:1)

The Word says that Christ in us is the hope of glory. We died to self, the wants and the desires of the flesh and Christ Jesus, our Lord, is living His life through us, so that we can live victorious, overcomming lives. Our spirit is recreated at the moment we accept Jesus Christ, but our mind which houses our thoughts, will and emotions, needs to be renewed so that we can be molded into the image of God's dear Son. We are perfect in God's sight because when He sees us, He sees Christ in us. We have put on the new nature of the Lord Jesus Christ.

As we renew our minds by continuing in His Word, reading it, accepting it, and putting it into practice, we will live healthy, prosperous, glorious, overcoming lives. And when we sin unwittingly, God will forgive us as we confess it and turn from it. He cleanses us from all unrighteousness by the blood that Jesus shed for us. God worthy of praise! Glory to His Name.

And when the devil tries to bring guilt and condemnation when you fall short, remember: "There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death." (Romans 8:1-2 NKJV) It is so good to be in Christ Jesus, to be one in Him. To walk under His authority and power. He has overcome this world, and therefore we are overcomers too.
