GRAPHIC ARTS LESSON

For this project you are to scan the photo that is assigned to your computer station and improve the photo.  Each photo is different but the complexion of the model needs improved.  Here is a sample original photo:

Notice in the area marked (1) I eliminated part of the nose shadow and some of the facial acne.   In the area marked (2) I eliminated some of the red spots. This was done in Photo Paint and the tools used were: 1.  Clone tool 2.  Smear tool 3.  eyedropper tool 4.  paint brush tool. Notice that I only worked on a very small area.  Your job is to do the entire photo.   You are to add white space (with the <paper size> option) and put your name at the bottom (in the white space you created).  You are then to send it through the black and white printer for a grade.   You have 5 days to do this project. (the five days includes the scan - therefore you must work quickly) Notice also that you are not only removing the acne  but that you are also removing other imperfections such as the red blush across the nose and the shadows that distract from the portrait.
