Summary: Daniel has been working off world for a few days and it looks 
like he might be going back for longer.  He makes a proposal to Jack...     
What will the colonel's response be?

NOTES:
This is actually a scene that is inspired *from* the Enlightenment series.  
(At present I have Daniel working off-world in that Series.)  This came to 
mind and would almost fit the series if I made alterations (and booted 
out my kick-a$$ ending.. which I'm not prepared to do), but I quite 
enjoyed where it headed as it was.. so thought I'd post it as a separate 
story.  There are marked differences between this and the Series.. so 
hopefully it wont confuse the reader too much   <{8^D)

Also, while I'm not really a *believer* in same sex marriages (infact 
*any* marriages anymore *sigh*) .. well, more to the point-   I don't 
know that Jack would accept it.. so I found it interesting that this story 
should come to me then.

Warnings:  I'm a "shipper.  I like to deal in the relationships of the 
characters of the show.  While this story is more of a romance than a 
hard core slash, there is sex contained within these pages.  Also, there 
is a hint of  "rough - housing" although it's not over the top!  This 
story is basically a 'love story'. If that sort of thing doesn't appeal 
to you, please refrain from reading it.
