So now they were back on earth. Daniel had seen Jack and was waiting for the Colonel to complete his report so that he knew what to put in his own report to General Hammond. The scientist- looked through the microscope but his mind wasn't on his work. He was very distracted by his thoughts and his memories which were starting to fill his head rapidly. Memories of a cool pool, and a waterfall. He sighed, his chest tightening against the vest as he pushed his stool away, and it slid effortlessly across the floor on its castors. Gripping his fringe he half sighed, half cried in frustration.
"Danny," came the very soft voice behind him. He swung around, slipping off the stool at the same time, to see Jack, leaning one shoulder against the door frame, silhouetted by the light in the corridor.
"Jack.." He sniffed, glad that the tears had only made their way into his nose and not his eyes yet. Jack stepped into the office, kicking the door shut as he came in. Daniel backed up one step, pressing up against the table behind him.
"I'm having trouble concentrating.." Jack waved the report in his hand. Daniel shrugged and nervously toppled the pile of books behind him, catching them before they fell.
"I'm ... so am I." He sighed, trying to calm his breath. Jack was right next to him now.
"Wanna help me fill in this report?" Jack placed the piece of paper on the table behind Daniel and lent his hands onto the table top. Daniel looked down at it and saw where Jack had left off.
"Oh, the hut.." he swallowed nervously as he nodded.
"Care to remind me what happened in there?" Jack asked deeply. Daniel frowned.
"You don't remember?" he asked. Jack wet his bottom lip quickly and gave a shrug.
"I think.. it was.. something like.. this," he slipped his hand around Daniel head and pulled him in for a deep, lingering kiss. Daniel stumbled briefly then he gripped Jack's head in his own hands and returned the fiery kiss.
Jack pulled back breathlessly.
"Oh god, Danny, why didn't you change?" he ran his hands up and down the leather clad legs. "You know I can resist anything but temptation.."
Daniel smiled. "I was kinda hoping for that.." he said. Jack narrowed his eyes.
"You.. did this on purpose?" he shook his head. Daniel smiled sweetly.
"I started to recall what happened, and I remember you saying something about.. how much seeing me in leather turned you on... I was hoping to jog your memory..."
Jack grinned. "After you left my office I just sat there, unable to think or do anything, then suddenly it was like watching it on tv.."
"Oh?" Daniel grinned. Jack smirked as he nodded.
"Oh yeah, Great viewing too, but definitely not for children..."
Daniel laughed as he felt Jack nudge at his throat. "I should hope not.."
"What say you and I blow this joint..?"
Daniel picked up the report and waved it under Jack's nose. "You have to finish this first," he said. Jack rolled his eyes and yanked the paper from Daniel's hand then lent over his desk and hastily wrote a few sentences. Daniel stepped in behind him and ran his hands over the green covered bottom before him. Jack groaned.
"Danny..."
"You know, seeing you in uniform always does it for me.." Daniel pressed his groin against Jack's rear as he leant over the top of him, trying to see what he was writing.
"Please, Danny..." Jack groaned. Daniel laughed.
"Is that even a letter Jack?" he pointed to the scribble on the page. Jack rolled over and caught Daniel before he could pull away.
"Unless you want me to take you right here, can I suggest you go and stand over there!" He pointed to the other side of the room. Daniel shrugged and stepped over there, watching as Jack flung himself around to finish off the report. Finally he stood, smiling triumphantly as he waved the page at his lover. Daniel took it and read it.
"It's a bit skimpy, considering the details in the rest of the report," he smiled and enjoyed the sensation of Jack chewing on his ear lobe.
"Who cares.." the colonel muttered.
Daniel began to read. "We went into the huts, fell asleep, got up and discovered that the fruit had reacted badly with us, sending us all into a deep sleep. We will need to be careful of such a reaction during our research?" he laughed but Jack only shrugged.
"What? It's the truth. I ate fruit.. then you... then I fell asleep..."
Daniel groaned as he dropped the report to the desk behind Jack.
"Did you have to say that?" he asked huskily.
Jack smirked. "What? That I fell asleep? It's true, Danny, I did.."
The younger man shook his head, "the bit about..."
There was a sharp knock on the door and the men sprang apart, Daniel going to the door while Jack propped himself up over the report to make it look like that was the reason he was there.
Lt. Simmons entered the room. "Sir, General Hammond has said that he won't wait for the report now, because he's in kind of a hurry to leave, but that you can have it on his desk first thing Monday morning instead."
The colonel straightened up as he nodded. "Thank you Lieutenant."
Simmons saluted then turned crisply and left the room. Daniel shut the door and turned to Jack, who was grinning wildly.
"Did you hear that Danny Boy?"
"Yes. He was standing right next to me, Jack-" He nodded. Jack laughed as he held his arms wide for Daniel to come into him.
"This means, we can go home..." he said. Daniel raised his brow.
"Seems like it. Your hut or mine?" he teased. Jack laughed.
"Mine, I think, unless you'd prefer..."
Daniel shook his head. "Yours will do, just fine..." he kissed Jack gently causing the older man to sigh softly. Just then there was another knock on the door and Jack groaned as Daniel pulled back away.
Sam and Teal'c entered the room.
"I see you two are talking again." Sam smiled. Jack straightened up as he stepped over to Daniel.
"So are you two," he said. Sam smiled and put her arm around Teal'c's waist, which made Daniel raise his brow slightly.
"It seems that the fruit is going to be quite a strategic coup, provided we can work out a way of avoiding the black out ..."
"There's no memory loss, from what I can recall, so maybe it's just something they can work on over at the Lab.." Jack shrugged. Sam nodded.
"We're umm, heading back to my place, you two heading up to the parking lot now?" she asked.
Daniel looked at Jack who nodded. "My report's done," the older man said with a shrug.
"Err no, it's not," Daniel grabbed up the hasty report and handed it to Jack. "I'll just go and get changed while you three discuss *what* it is that's going onto the report..." He left the room. Sam grinned at Jack who shrugged.
"Fiesty little thing, isn't he," Jack grinned and Sam laughed.
"Why don't we grab a pizza and head on over to my place, nut out this report then we have the whole weekend to ourselves..?" Sam offered as she looked up at Teal'c who agreed with a slight nod of his head. Jack cringed at the thought of having to wait until later for Daniel but nodded reluctantly.
"It's over and done with then, I guess-" He sighed. Sam chuckled and patted his arm.
"Then you have the *whole* weekend," she teased, then when he shot her a quick look she stiffened and added, "Sir."
A smile slowly came across his face and she released her breath again.
The four of them eventually headed up to the parking lot, to their respective cars then they headed over to Sam's house, to start a weekend that promised to be quite eventful....
And that's the god's honest truth!
