Tanaquil's trip to Crete, June 13th - June 20th 2003

Follow Tanaquil on her trip to Crete! I stayed in the lovely Venetian town of Rethimno, visited various features of town, such as the old town, the Fortezza and the Archaeological museum. I also went to Iraklio, to visit the city and, of course, the archaeological site of Knossos and I visited Chania. I would like to show you some of the pictures I took, to give you an impression of Crete, a very rich island, as far as history, archaeology, culture, climate, food and drink and the lovely personality of its local inhabitants is concerned!
