. . . Films You  Gotta Wonder Why they were Ever Released . . .
A.I. Artificial Intelligence There were one or two fine moments, but not enough to stop this film from being pretensious twaddle.  In the end, it lived up to part of it's title: artificial
Braveheart A patronising and self-serving vehicle for Gibson.
End of Days I was sitting in the theatre praying for the Apocolypse to come!
Hannibal Given how truly awful the novel was, this film was bound to leave a bad taste in the mouth...
Jeepers Creepers It  started well, but then went bad after about 40 minutes.  Jeepers creepers, it was hard to not doze off and close my peepers...
John Carpenter's Ghosts of Mars Quite simply: this man shouldn't be allowed near a film set ever again...
Minority Report  To be fair, the first 45mins or so were excellent, but then the film became disturbingly predictable.  Should have been called Mediocrity Report
Naked Lunch An excellent example of what you can do with a lot of money and no ability....
Salo If you've seen it, or heard of it, then you will understand why it's included it here.
Something About Mary Ok, that hair gel scene is funny, but otherwise a dull effort and waaaaay overrated.
The Birdcage This film doesn't deserve comment.  It is truly THAT awful!
The English Patient I could've  cheerfully performed euthanasia on the English patient within 20 minutes of the opening credits....
Titanic A vulgar memorial trivialising the deaths and suffering of thousands of human beings.  Visually good (though lots of dodgey CGI work), and an excellent score except for that vile woman whining on about her heart...
Copycat
Fallen
Charlotte's Web
Bambi
A Chorus Line
A Bug's Life
Who Framed Roger Rabbit?
Misery
Starship Troopers
The Birds
East of Eden
= Highly Recommended.
American Beauty Overrated.  Should have been titled  American Hyperbole.
City of Angels Oh God... this was just too awful for words! A travesty! Do yourself a favour and see the original: Wings of Desire
