What do you expect to accomplish with the U.S. Patriot Act? I'm wondering if you are trying to return to the "glory days" of your establishment during the 1950's. That's what it seems like to me. How easy it is for you now to intrude upon our rights as American Citizens all in the name of "The War on Terror". Yet this seems to open up a whole can of worms that should probably be left close. What I am most curious about is why the hell do you care what I do? I don't plan on building bombs and blowing sh@# up. I just like to retain my right to say my county/leaders/policies suck without you knocking on my door. Yet you can monitor me now (if you aren't already) if I do practice this right.
I just don't understand why the hell you would care. What purpose does it serve to know my reading habits? What purpose does it serve to know what I've been to the hospital for? What purpose does it serve to know what I'm saying on the phone? What purpose does it serve to know who's e-mailing me and what I'm e-mailing (and ignore all those pornography e-mails... I don't know how they get my feckin' e-mail address... Have you been giving it out to them?) I wonder once you've collected all this data... What the hell are you going to do with it? Hang on to it? Sell it to corporations so they can send me tailored advertising (Hey... You can make money off of that!!!) Are you going to lump us into neat little labels and little groups like: Good Conformist, Model Citizen, Sociopath, Nonconformist, Future Prisoner... etc... etc...
