Flowers... red roses, of all things, being delivered to me, a Navy Seal! What was Laura thinking?? All I wanted to do was finish the darn IRA briefing, but Mr. Roberts had to keep interrupting.
Nope.. I wasn't going to make it out of that briefing without some embarrassment. I swear if I catch a smirk on Rabb or MacKenzie when they get back, I will see some serious file review in their future. I think Mr. Roberts will enjoy helping Tiner with inventory since he is so diligent with small details. Ah, sometimes being an Admiral has its benefits.
I mean I love Laura and I am not afraid to let her know it. My staff, however, does not need to know about my 'softer' side. I think I will make reservations for a nice, quiet dinner for two at her favorite restaurant. That will make her happy and end this day on a pleasant note.
