The Lone Wolves
What the Lone Wolves has come to be is the tribe of wolf-like
aliens in exile from their home planet, defending the few shreds of
freedom their own native world has yet to claim. Consuming star systems
and stations of hundreds of worlds is the lifeblood of the Cerberan
Empire, who disregards its people in favor of conquest and power. This
force would ultimately be the victor, if not for the band of castoff
outlaws, refugees, and others who will not allow the triumph of Cerberus
and her empress. In fact, the empress' own daughter, Ayori, is a part of
these freedom fighters. Her efforts are from a mix of emotion, loyalty
to her people, and the anticipation that she will be the long-awaited
bringer of freedom her home needs. Caught up in intrigue, teenage
frustrations, and the swirling, smoky fantasies of Cerberan legend, the
Lone Wolves must struggle to place the young princess in power....and to
survive.
