This is the second Gold Nikon (first being the Gold FM) produced, however, it is the first Gold Nikon available to the general public to commemorating their winning of the European Camera of the Year Award in 1984. All metal parts were 24 carat gold plated and covered with Royal Lizard skin. Only 2000 pieces were available world wide. The camera was delivered with a wooden casket complete with a matching 50mm/f1.4 24 carat gold plated Nikkor Lens. |
