Note from Echo: This is a parody of a sonnet by Shakespeare (The actual poem is at the bottom, it may be a little messed up because I just typed it from memory). Now, all you Gabe Babes, please don't kill me or send me e-mail bombs or anything. Rover... er... Spot, is great, really! But Echo's gotta make fun of him! If she didn't well... the world would come to an end! Well, maybe not but....

Ode to Rover
Echo

My newsie's eyes are like blue sespools,
his smile makes me want to hurl,
he pees on the carpet and always drools,
if hair be greasy, then McDonald's french fries grow from his head,
I have seen muscles on some men,
but no such muscles see on on his measly chest,
and in some sewers the smell is better,
than the puppy breath that from my newsie wreaks,
I grant I never saw a giant,
my newsie, when he walks in a crowd looks like a midget,
I know that Leo has a smaller ego,
my newsie is too arrogant for his own good,
And all this makes it hard to resist,
punching his vain face with my first.

The real sonnet that actually rhymes!

"My mistress's eyes are nothing like the sun,
coral is far more red than her lips red,
if snow be white, why then her breasts are dun,
if hair be wires then black wires grow from her head,
I have seen roses damasked in red and white,
but no such roses see I in her cheeks,
and in some perfumes is there more delight,
than in the breath that from my mistress wreaks,
I grant I never saw a goddess go,
my mistress when she walks, treads on the ground,
I love to hear her speak and yet I know,
that music hath a far more pleasing sound,
Yet, by heaven, I find my love more rare,
than any she belied with false compare."
