On the 29th of February 2008 a letter of congratulations and felicitation was sent to H.E. the President of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic on the occasion of the 90th birthday of the great Circassian folklorist Ziramikw Qardenghwsch' (КъардэнгъущI Зырамыку). The Circassian iconic figure was honoured by the President in a special ceremony. The letter was published in the newspaper Adige Psalhe (Адыгэ Псалъэ; Circassian Word), 14 May 2008, no. 90-91.
