People often wounder. What is Music?
A. Music is organized sound and silencethrough time that expresses something.
There are many different types of musical instruments. There is the Woodwind Section, the Brass Section, The Percussion Section, and Strings. All of these Sections have instruments that make either high or low sounds. Take for instance the flute. Does the flute have a high pitch sound or a low pitch sound? A flute has a high pitch. The flute is concidered a Upper Woodwind Instrument, becasue of the highness of pitch. The Bass Clarinet is also a Woodwind Instrument. Does the Bass word mean anything to you at this moment. I'll bet it doesn't. A Bass Clarinet makes low pitched sounds. So the Bass Clarinet is concidered a Low Woodwind Instrument. Same with all of the other Sections. In the Brass, Trumpets have the highest pitch sound. While the Tuba has the lowest pitched sound. Percussion Section is the same way. The Snare Drum has a higher Sound while the Bass Drum has a lower sound. That is how all istruments work. Every instrument has a range of high notes to low notes.
