The house was the perfect place for James and Ron to crash and hold rehearsal and practice jams. So together with Hugh Tanner(lead guitar)and Jim Mulligan (drums) they formed Leather Charm. But this time James just sang, no guitar.Most of the time they played Iron Maiden songs. Hetfield asked McGovney to teach him to play bass. Tanner quit Leather Charm.Then James saw Lars' ad in a local magazine called "Recycler". He called him as he hoped Lars would agree to join as a drummer in Leather Charm. But you know what happed next. Metallica was formed!!!
