Bright Angel Trail

The mule trail (bottom left) leads to Plateau Point overlooking the Colorado River. The trail starts near the campground at Indian Gardens. The deep canyon in the center is Bright Angel Canyon with a creek which joins the Colorado at Phantom Ranch. Beneath the canyon lies Bright Angel Fault.
