VanderPutten in Indonesia

Life was not all
work. I went shopping one day. My Bahasa Indonesia (the
official language of Indonesia) was not very good so
Brian hired a (marginally) bilingual companion for me. We
had a lot of fun. With me is my guide and our 'taxi' for the day. Actually the 'taxi' was a human powered bachek, a 3-wheeled bicycle with a seat for two riders in front. On hills we took pity on our poor driver and walked. Indonesian women at that time were not very tall.
