ASMA-AL-HUSNA
Almost all the educated persons,
who do not believe in GOD are psychic and spiritually ill. They have imaginary
or real fear complex. In their hearts and minds there is unrest.
Whether they take tranquilisers
or any other pills or remedies, the doctors of medicines have no cure for
them.
THE HOLY QURAN SYS
"Those who believe and whose hearts
are set at rest by the remembrance of Allah; now surely by Allah's remembrance
are the hearts set at rest". Ch.
XIII Ver. 28.
If a man will repeat the above Ayat
or any one of the "Asma-al-Husna" 100 times, he will be surprised to find,
the relief he gets.

PRAISE OF ALLAH
All praise is due to Allah, the
First before whom there was no first and the last after whom there shall
be no last.
The eyes cannot see Him and the
imagination of those who praise him are unable to describe Him.
His names are Holy and His Blessings
continuous.
All praise is due to Allah, for
what he taught us about Himself and inspired us with gratitude to Him to
Him and opened for us the door of knowledge about His Godhood and directed
us to be sincere in the belief of His unity and restrained us from rebelling
against and entertaining doubts about His Commands.
We offer praise so that we may be
with those who praise Him.
A praise whereby, we may be saved
from the painful punishment of the fire and led to His glorious nearness.
A praise whereby, we may be joined
to His Apostle and His place of Honour that shall not be changed.
And praise be to Allah, who feeds
us with wholesome sustenance and made us independent, by His Grace and
gives us wealth, by his Kindness. Then He commands us to try our obedience
and prohibited certain things, so that He may test our gratitude.
And when we deviated from His path
and rebelled against His prohibitions, He neither hurried to punish nor
retirbute us.
He delays with Merciful regard and
waits for us to return to obedience with Gracious Forbearance.
And praise is due to Allah, who
guides us to repentance, which we could have never done except through
His Grace.
Verily, He lifted off the burdens
for which we had not the strength to bear; He did not place duties upon
us beyond our power and gave us easy employment and did not leave any ground
or excuse for neglecting them.
So the wicked amongst us will be
destroyed against His Wish and the righteous are inclined towards Him.
Then praise be to Him, having no
end to its existence, no reckoning for its numbers, no limit to its extremity
and no period to its duration.
A praise which may be a means of
connecting our service to Him and His pardon, a cause for His favour, an
intercession for His forgiveness, a path to His paradise, a protection
from His chastisement, a security from His Wrath, and aid in His service,
a restraint from His disobedience and a help in repaying our dues and obligations
to Him.
A praise whereby, we may be happy
among His righteous servants. Verily, He is the Lord, most worthy to be
praised.
BLESSINGS
ON THE APOSTLE GOD
All praise is due to Allah , who
favoured us with Muhammad.
May Allah bless him and his descendants.
O Lord! Bless Muhammad, the trustee
of Thy Message, the best of Thy ceatures, the chosen one of Thy servants,
the harbinger of mercy, the precursor of goodness, the key of blessing.
He exerted himself for Thy purpose and exposed himself to pain, for Thy
sake and fought Thy enemies till his mission was accomplished and what
was planned for his friends was achieved. Thy command was established and
Thy Word was exalted.
Therefore O Lord! Exalt him for
his exertions in Thy cause to the highest rank in Thy paradise, till his
position may not be equalled by any angel or prophet. And distinguish him
with effective intercession for sacred members of his house and true believers,
greater than Thou hast promised O Performer of promise! O Keeper of thy
word! O changer of evil into good ! Verily, Thou art magnificently kind
and Thou art the Generous, the Bountiful.
BLESSINGS
ON THE ANGLES
O Lord! bless the bearers of Thy
Throne, who never grow lazy in extolling Thy Name, are never tired of remembering
Thy Holiness, never grow weary of adoring Three, and never fail to have
intense love for Thee.
O Lord ! bless Israfil, the Trumpeter,
the vigilant who is waiting for Thy order, to warn the dead who are lying
in their graves; and Mikaeel, the Honourable, the holder of lofty rank
in Thy service; and Jibraeel, the Trustee of Thy message who is respected
and near Thee.
And the Angel of death and the Munkir
and Nakir and Rooman, the questioners of the dead in tombs; and bless Malik
the guards of Hell and Rizwan the keepers of Paradise and bless angels
whom we have omitted to mention.
O Lord! when Thou hast blessed Thy
angels and Thy Apostles, convey to them our blessings and be pleased for
Thy enabling us to speak well of them.
Verily, Thou art Generous and Bountiful.
ASKING
GOD FOR HIS FAVOURS.
O you! The wonder of Whose glory
will never exhaust, bless Muhammad and his descendants, erstrain us from
forsaking Your Greatness;
And O You! Whose kingdom will never
finish, bless Muhammad and his descendants, save us from Your chastisement;
And O You! Whose store of mercy
will never be exhausted, bless Muhammad and his descendants, appoint for
us a share of your Mercy;
O Lord! make us independent of gifts
of the givers, with Your Bounty, and protect us from loneliness, with Your
connection, till we may not incline to any except You and because of Your
Favour we may not fear anybody.
O Lord! bless Muhammad and his descendants,
plan for us and not against us and give us the upper hand and do not give
the upperhand to any over us.
O Lord! bless Muhammad and his descendants,
guard us from Your Wrath, protect us with Your Grace and guide us towards
You. Whomsoever You protect is saved, whom You direct, is guided and whom
You keep near You is blessed.
O Lord! bless Muhammad and his descendants,
save us from the mischief of Shaitan and his bitterness and fury.
O Lord! bless Muhammad and his descendants,
let us be Your missionaries, guiding men towards You and make us one of
the chosen, in Your Sight, O Most Merciful!
IN
DIFFICULTY AND TROUBLE
O You, from whom we seek deliverance
from trials and comfort in time of distress.
You are the One to Whom, we cry
in times of trouble and You are the only Refuge in distress.
None of the difficulties are removed
except what You remove and none of the troubles taken away except what
You take away. There is no one to make easy, what you have made difficult
and no one to help him whom You have forsaken.
Therefore, bless Muhammad and his
Aal and graciously open for me the gate of deliverance O Lord, remove from
me overpowering anxiety by Your Might and look with favour upon the supplications
I have made and make me taste the sweetness of your dealings with me. Bestow
Your Mercy upon me and a pleasant relief from sorrow. Grant me by Your
Grace speedy deliverance from distress.
Verily, I am distressed because
of what has befallen me and am full of sadness on account of what I have
to bear that which has overtaken me.
You have the power to remove in
which I am involved and avert in which I have fallen.
Therefore, please grant me this
favour, though I do not deserve it, O Possessor of the Magnificent Throne.
PROTECTION
O Lord! I implore Your protection
from the excitation of greed, the impetuosity of anger, the domination
of envy, the depravity of morals, the importunity of passion, the excess
of zeal, the submission to desires, the opposition to right, the drowsiness
of negligence, the entrance into troubles, the preferring of wrong to right,
persistence in sin, the under estimation of guilt, the over-estimation
of service, the pride of the wealthy, the begging of equals, the despising
of the poor, the ridicule of enemies, the abuse of power, the omitting
to thank, assisting the oppressor, forsaking the oppressed, aspiring to
which I am not entitled, speaking of learning without knowledge.
And I implore Your protection from
observing the weaknesses of others, from being proud of my good deeds,
from indulging in far-fetched hopes, from being involved in calamity, from
the oppression of the ruler, from extravagant habits, from want of livelihood,
from living in hardship, dying without asking pardon and from the chastisement
of fire.
O Lord! bless Muhammad and his Aal
and protect me and all the true believers, both male and female, from all
these, by Your Mercy, O Most Merciful.
REPENTANCE.
O Lord! bless Muhammad and
his Aal and guide us to repentance which pleases You and remove our persistence
in sins, which is hateful to You.
O Lord! forgive our sins and
manifest Your Grace. If you wished You could punish us and display Your
Justice. Be graciously pleased to make Your Pardon easy for us and by Your
Forgiveness deliver us from Your Punishment, for verily we have not the
strength to stand against Your Justice; therefore save us by Your Pardon.
O Most Independent One ! O
Most Merciful ! O Most Gracious! O You ! Whose Forgiveness is more frequent
than Your chastisement ! Behold, we, Your servants, are standing before
You, verily we are in great need.
O Holy One, we are weak and
helpless, we do not despair of Your Mercy, we repent and are ashamed of
our sins, the duties we neglected, the wrongs we accumulated against us,
we are sincerely sorry for what we fell into. O Lord, bless Muhammad and
his Aal and forgive us and save us from what we deserve and shelter us
from what the wicked are afraid of.
Verily, You have power over
everything and this is easy for You. Amin, Lord of the Worlds.
NEED.
O Lord ! Who ultimately satisfies
our needs, Who sells not His favors for a price; Whose gifts are not accompanied
with reproaches; Whose stores cannot be exhausted by requests and Whom
Prayers do not fatigue.
Thou hast prided Thyself
on being independent Thou hast called Thy creatures needy.
How can one needy creature
beg of another who is in need; and why should a pauper be attracted to
another pauper?
So I request Thee for Thy
sake and that of Muhammad and his Aal do not turn me away disappointed.
NEW
MOON.
I believe in Him, who illuminated
with the moon the darkness and made it one of the signs of His Sovereignty
and authority. He has made the crescent the key of the month, newly arrived
for new affairs.
Therefore, I pray to God
to shower blessings on Muhammad and his Aal and to make this crescent for
me, one of prosperity, which the days may not obliterate and of purity,
which the sins may not taint, and of security from calamities and safety
from wrong, and of auspiciousness having no misfortune in it and blessings
unaccompanied by sorrow, and prosperity unmixed with distress and good
unspoiled by evil.
O Lord, Bless Muhammad and
his Aal and let us be the most happy and lucky of those who look at it
and give us grace to repent and inspire us with gratitude for Thy bounties.
Verily Thou art the most
benevolent, the Praiseworthy, bless Muhammad and his Aal the pure, the
holy.
BEGINNING
OF RAMZAN.
Praise be to God who has ordained
the month of Ramzan to be His month. The month of fasting, Islam, equality,
purification and prayers. In the month of Ramzan the Quran was revealed,
a guidance to mankind.
He manifested Ramzan's excellence
over other months by alloting it abundant honour and grace.
He prohibited eating and
drinking in order to exalt and honour it. He gave excellence to one night,
over a thousand months - the Night of Qadr, in which descend the angels
and spirits by His permission - for every affair.
O Lord, Bless Muhammad and
his Aal and inspire us to know its excellence and honour. Help us to abstain
from what is forbidden and to observe the fasts and employ us in that which
will please Thee.
So that we may not gossip
nor direct our eyes towards evil, nor stretch our hands to things forbidden,
nor stoop to things prohibited, nor eat of what is unlawful.
Protect us from showiness
loved by the ostentations and notoriety desired by the seekers of fame.
O Lord! give us grace to
perform timely the 5 prayers. Let us show favour to our relations and do
good to them, and help our neighbours with kindness, to purge our property
of obligations and purify it by giving legal alms.
Far be it from us to reconcile
him who is abhorred on account of Thee and for Thy sake, for he is an enemy
we will never befriend.
O Lord! I beg Thee for the
sake of this month to make us worthy of that which Thou has promised to
Thy friends, and restrain us from unbelief in Thy unity and our deficiency
in glorifying Three.
O Lord, with the expiration
of its days, purify us of guilty and sins and help us in the day time to
observe the fast and at night to pray, and let us be like this in all the
months and days as long as Thou keep us alive.
END
OF RAMZAN.
O Lord, who draws a curtain over
him, who could be disgraced if Thou so desired, and conferred favours on
him whom Thou could refuse, while both of them deserve disgrace and denial
from Three.
But Thou has based Thy actions
on kindness, and made Thy power work with forgiveness, and dealt mildly
with him who disobeyed Three and allowed him time to reform who wanted
to injure his own soul.
It is Thou who has raised
the price of virtue against Thyself and in favour of Thy servants, desiring
their benefit in their commerce with Thee.
O lord, purify us of our
errors by the ending of this month, and makes us prosperous by its dividend,
and make us rich by the share of its blessings.
It is Thou, Who has with
Thy Word induced Thy servants to profit, and guided them to which they
would never have perceived, had Thou concealed it from them. So thou has
said, "Remember Me, I will remember you." And "If you give thanks, I will
give more and more."
If a man were to guide another
man to anything like that to which Thou has guided, he would have been
applauded and praised by every tongue.
Thou has guided us to Thy
religion and to Thy path, which Thou has made easy.
O Lord, Thou has ordained
Ramazan to be one of our chosen duties and essential observances, and have
distinguished it by the descent of the Quran, Thy guiding Light in it.
Thou has increased the Faith by enjoining observance of the month and encouraged
prayers and by the Glorious Night of Qadar. Moreover, by observing this
month Thou has given us superiority over other nations and preference to
people of other creeds.
And verily, this month stayed
to our benefit, and its departure makes us sad and lonely. Therefore we
say: Peace be upon thee O Great month of God and festival of His friends.
Peace be upon thee, as thou did come to us with blessings and whose fasts
were not abandoned on account of tediousness.
O Lord, we are the people
of this month, whom Thou did honour when the unlucky ignored its time,
and were deprived of its excellence owing to their ill-luck, and extend
our life, so as to overtake the next Ramazan.
O Lord, bless Muhammad and
his Aal, heal our sufferings by means of this month, and bless us on the
day of Eid, and let it be the best day that has passed over us, the greatest
attraction of pardon, a festival of joy for the believers and a day of
gathering and congregation.
DAY
OF ARAFAAH.
Praise be to Allah, the king of
kings Whose identity, imagination failed to reach, and reason failed to
judge Thy quality, and eyes never perceived Thy whereabouts.
Holiness to Thee, O Monarch!
How powerful art Thou. O Bountiful! How liberal art Thou. O Glorious! The
possessor of all beauty, greatness, majesty and praise.
O Lord! bless Muhammad and
his descendants, the chosen, the honoured, with most excellent of Thy blessings.
O Lord! this is the day of
Arafaah, a day which Thou has ennobled, honoured and exalted and wherein
Thou has spread Thy mercy, favours, pardon, magnificent gifts and kindness
to Thy Servants.
Thou has guided me to love
Thy friends and hate Thy enemies, and I have come to Thee through the gates
(12 Apostlic Imams) through which Thou commanded to come. I approach Thee
through them, without whom none can approach Thee.
Moreover, I reinforce this
with repentance, humility, hope, fear and sincerity.
Neither puffed up with the
pride of the haughty nor lifted up with the conceit of the obedient nor
arrogant on account of the mediation of intercessors.
Therefore, O Thou! Who does
not hasten to punish nor withhold Thy blessings from those in comfort.
I admit I have committed sins and for the sake of him whose obedience and
love Thou has linked to Thine, protect and pardon me in this day of my
life.
And guide my heart to pray
and save me from laziness.
And make it easy for me to
walk virtuously towards Thee and do not destroy me along with those who
treated Thy threat lightly.
And do not favour me with
that I have no strength to bear; for then I shall be crushed by what Thou
will lavish upon me of the excess of Thy love.
And give me security from
Thy trial and cause me to die a lucky death.
And do not put me to strain
with a tension, which will harden my heart and do not afflict me with a
calamity which will take away my honour.
And do not smite me with
a terror whereby I may become hopeless nor with a fear that may terrify
me.
Bless Muhammad and his descendants.
WISHES.
O Lord! bless Muhammad and his Aal,
raise my faith to perfection;
And make me independent and provide
me amply with Thy sustenance;
And do not let me be tempted by
arrogance caused by wealth;
And let me be honoured, but do
not let me fall a prey to pride;
And cause me to adore Thee and
do not let my adoration be spoiled with conceit;
And issue from my hands good to
mankind and do not let it be undone by reproaches;
And let me live as long as my life
is useful in serving Thee.
O Lord! Thou art my shelter if
I grow sad, and Thou art my resource if I am in need, and unto Thee I cry
for help.
Therefore, favour me before calamity
and bounty before begging and do not make my life a succession of trials
and do not reject my prayer, for I do not recognise Thy equal and preserve
my subsistence from waste and increase my possession with blessings and
let me walk along the path of benevolence and protect me with Thy glory
from what I fear.
O Lord! bless Muhammad and his
Aal and guard my honour with prosperity and do not disgrace my dignity
with poverty, let my term of existence end with Thy pardon and graciously
protect me from torment and fire.
SECURITY
O Lord! bless Muhammad and his Aal
and clothe me with Thy safety and honour me with Thy protection, and guard
me with Thy security and make me independent with Thy protection and favour
me with Thy safety both in this world and the next.
And favour me with health
and security and success and power to do what you have commanded and to
keep away from what You have forbidden.
O Lord! always guide me to
perform the Haj and the Oomrah and the Ziarats to the tombs of Thy Prophet
and his Aal, peace be on them, in this year and every future year of my
life, and make them acceptable pilgrimage, approved, remembered and stored
by Thee.
And let my tongue utter Thy
praise and thanks and give capacity to my mind to receive Thy faith.
And protect me and my family
from the devil and the vulgar and the mean, and from malicious kings and
from the mischief of the envious, the and haughty richman and the weak
and the weak and the strong, and from the mischief of the jins and men
who insist upon fighting Thy Apostle and his Aal, and turn away from me
whoever intends to wrong me and disgrace him and break his pride, ruin
his greatness and render my safe from all his mischiefs.
Verily, Thou art possessor
of Glory and Power.
PARENTS.
O Lord,! bless Muhammad and his
Aal and distinguish them with the best of Your favour, mercy, blessings
and peace.
O Lord! grant my parents excellence
and nearness to Thee, and Thou hast given us claim over Thy creation because
of Thy Prophet.
And make me fear my parents, and
make me love them with tenderness, and make me obey and do good to them,
till I give preference to their wishes and needs over mine.
O Lord, let my voice be lower,
agreeable and soft and make my heart kind to them.
O Lord, reward them for bringing
me up and loving me, and guard them as they guarded me in my infancy.
O Lord, for whatever pain
and displeasure I have caused them, pardon them and exalt their ranks in
addition to their good deeds.
O Lord, I do not accuse them
for causing me hurt or neglecting to do good to me or caring for me, because
their claim on me is great, their benevolence magnificent, and I am highly
obliged to them and cannot fairly repay them.
O Lord, do not let me forget
to remember them after my Namaz and at every time of the night and every
hour of the day; and grant a sure pardon by Your Mercy, for surely Your
Generosity is great and Your kindness eternal.
O Lord, grant me all my desires
and satisfy my needs, and favour me with all that will do me good in this
world and the next, and whatever I remember and whatever I have forgotten
to ask, and let me be one of the righteous, who are safe from calamity
by Thy grace.
CHILDREN.
O Allah, favour me by sparing from
death my children and by teaching them for me and by blessing me with them.
O Lord, prolong their lives
for me bring them up for me and strengthen the weak ones and heal their
bodies, faith and morals and let them be safe in mind and body and in every
thing I am anxious about them, and let their sustenance flow into my hand,
and let them be virtuous, pious able to see and hear, obedient unto Thee
and lovers and well-wishers of Thy friends, and hostile and hateful towards
all Thy enemies. Amin.
O Lord, strengthen my arm
and burdened back with them, and increase my family and adorn my society
and keep my name alive by them, and make them take care of my affairs in
my absence and help me with them to satisfy my needs, and let them love
me, be kind, faithful and obedient to me and not dis-obedient, nor wicked,
nor unkind, nor guilty.
And help me in training and
educating them to do good, and grant from Thee male children and let this
be a benefit for me, and make them my helpers in whatever I ask of Thee,
and protect me and my children from the Shaitan, he shall mislead us if
Thou doth not guard us.
NEIGHBOURS
O Lord, bless Muhammad and his Aal,
and be my Trustee among my neighbours and friends, who know our right and
renounce our enemies.
O Lord, grant them grace
to establish Thy way, to be kind to the weak, to help those who are in
want, to visit the sick, to guide those who ask, to advise those who seek
counsel, to cover their nakedness, to relieve the oppressed, to sympathise
by helping them, to do good to them with generosity and benevolence, and
to give what is due to them before they ask.
MUSLIMS
AND THEIR ENEMIES.
O Lord, bless Muhammad and
his descendants, and fortify the Muslim frontiers with your might, and
support their defenders with Your strength and bestow on them gifts out
of Your bounty.
O Lord, bless Muhammad and
his Aal, and increase their numbers and sharpen their weapons, and guard
their surroundings and keep their company united, and regulate their business
and strengthen them with victory and be kind to devise stratagem for them.
O Lord, defeat the enemies
of the Muslims and cut off the reinforcement of the enemies and diminish
their numbers, fill their hearts which awe, make the wombs of their women
barren and the loins of their men dry, stop the breeding of their cattle,
do not make their sky rain and make their earth unproductive.
O Lord, thereby strengthen
the power of the Muslims and fortify their cities and multiply their wealth
and relieve them from fighting for Thy worship, so that none be adored
in the earth except Thee and no forhead be placed on the dust for any one
but Thee.
O Lord, whoever fights for
Thy Religion in order to exalt it, then bless him with wealth and happiness
and deliver him from sadness and bless him with good intentions, guard
him with safety, protect him from cowardice and inspire him with courage,
give him hardiness and assist him with victory, guide him in command and
cast off from him ostentation and desire for publicity, and let his thoughts,
speech, moving and standing be for Thee.
DEBT
O Lord, bless Muhammad and his descendants,
and give me security from a debt which may make my face to droop and confuse
my wits and perplex my mind and continuous of which will prolong my toil.
I seek Thy protection, O
Lord, against the sadness of debt and its cares, anxiety and sleeplessness,
and of Thee do I seek deliverance from its disgrace in this life and penalty
after death. Bless Muhammad and his Aal and deliver me from debt with an
excellent and sufficient prosperity.
O Lord, restrain me from extravagance
and excess, correct me with generosity and economy, teach me the secret
of accurate valuation, and let my sustenance flow from honest sources,
keep off from me the wealth that would create conceit in me or lead me
to disobedience and rebellion.
O Lord, make me love the
company of the poor and help me to be patient with them, and let what Thou
hast bestowed on me, be a means of nearness to Thee, a step in Thy direction
and entrance to Thy paradise. Verily, Thou art Possessor of Great Kindness
and Thou art Generous and Bountiful.
THANKSGIVING
All praise is due to Allah;
for had he withheld the knowledge of gratitude due to him from His creatures
for His successive blessings and continuous favours upon them, they would
have certainly enjoyed His blessings without praising Him, and thrived
in His gifts without ever thanking Him. If they were such, certainly they
would have gone below the limit of humanity. They would have been like
beasts, as He has described them in His Mighty Book, "Yea, they are like
beasts and they again go astray."
All praise is due to Allah,
for He taught and inspired us with gratitude to Him and opened for us the
doors of the knowledge of his Godhood, and guided us to sincerely believe
in His Unity and restrained us from rebellion and doubt for His command.
O lord, verily no one can
ever come to the end of thanking Thee, for the good that accrues to him
from Thy benevolence, which requires of him more thanks.
Therefore, the most thankful
of Thy creature is he who is conscious of his inability to thank Thee,
and the most devout is he who knows, he cannot adore The sufficiently.
Therefore, whomsoever You
forgive, it is Your generosity, and whomsoever You favour it is Your kindness
, because it is Your custom to be generous and Your habit to be benevolent
and Your way, to forgive.
You give to Your creatures
what they do not deserve and You do not hasten to punish them who disobey;
therefore bless Muhammad and his descendants and grant us hop.
Verily, Thou art Most Benevolent
and Generous.
APOLOGY.
O Lord, I apologise for the
wrong done to one oppressed in my presence, whom I did not help; and for
the good done to me for which I did not thank; and for not relieving a
man in need, who begged of me; and for failing to satisfy a believer; and
for every sin which I did not avoid.
Therefore, bless Muhammad
and his Aal and let my repentance make me entitle to Thy love, O Lover
of those who repent?
HOPE.
Bismillah is the creed of
those who seek protection and the motto of those who want refuge.
Praise be to God Who called
none to witness when He created the heavens and the earth; never had any
partner in His Godhood, nor was He helped in His oneness. The tongues are
unable to praise Him to the due extent and reason is incapable to understand
His fundamental characteristic, and the mighty humble themselves before
His Majesty and the faces fall on account of His dread, and all the great
submit to His glory.
Praise be to god, who existed
before creation and any life, who shall continue to exist after all things
have perished. The Knower, Who forgets not who remembers Him, and does
not diminish who thanks Him, and does not disappoint who prays to Him,
and does not frustrate the hope who places hope put in Him.
Therefore, bless Muhammad,
the best of Thy servants and prophets and the pure and holy members of
his house; he delivered Thy message with which Thou had entrusted him,
and he strived hard in the cause of Allah, and gave happy tidings of reward
which is certain and threatened with punishment in which there is no doubt.
O Lord, honour me with Thy
dignity, which never diminishes and watch me with Thy eye which never sleeps
and terminate my life in forgiveness --- Verily, Thou are Forgiving, the
Merciful.
O Lord, let the first part
of this day of mine consist in amendment, the middle of it in prosperity
and the last of it in success.
O Lord, employ my strength
in Thy service and let my delight consist in Thy worship, and make me love
Thy reward and cause me to abstain from that which would make me to deserve
painful chastisement, and keep me firm in Thy religion as long as Thou
keep me alive, and let my existence end in Thy pardon, O Lord of Benevolence!
PRAYER.
Praise be to Thee O Lord, I beg
of Thee mercy, and Exalted are Thou. Praise be to Thee O Lord, Honour
is Thy dress and Glory Thy mantle and Magesty Thy proof. Praise be
to You, You see and hear everything in the earth, You witness every secret
word, O Resort of every praying one, You are present in every assembly.
Praise be to Thee O Great Lord of hope, Thou knowest the weight of the
heavens and the worlds, the sun and the moon, darkness and light, sunshine
and air.
Praise be to Thee, Thou art
Holy! Thou are Holy! Thou are Holy! It is a wonder how he who knows Thee
does not fear Thee. Lord, let not my enemies laugh at me and grieve
not my fiends and relations on my account. I know, O my Lord, there
is no injustice in Your sentence, nor haste in Your retribution; he alone
makes haste who is afraid to lose the opportunity, and it is the weak who
have recourse to unfair means. Let Thy blessings descend on Muhammad
and the holy members of his house and abundant peace.
Dear Reader,
I shall be grateful, if you will
take the trouble of writing your comments, criticism or appreciation to
me.
Thank you
Yours Sincerely,
Kazmi
O
Allah, send thy Blessings on Mohammad
and the descendents of
Mohammad.
