Day 14

What’s on for today:

To write a creative piece which will create a scene which examines Miranda’s language and help the students better understand Miranda as a person.

What to do:

  1. Give out the handout with the questions
  2. Have the students pick out any scene from pg 124-180 and have them answer the questions in Miranda’s point of view.
  3. Have the students each perform their piece in front of the class
  4. Discuss what we have learned about Miranda as a character

Homework:

Think about a memory you had as a child and answer the same questions from the hand out.  Read pages 225-240

The class was a success if :

-         students were able to interpret the scene they picked and answer the questions in a creative yet correct point of view

-         students were able to better understand Miranda as a character
