Well here it is ~ a stationery tutorial. I hope you find
this tutorial helpful. I tried to include every detail and
make this very easy to follow. The tutorial begins with a
step-by-step process for creating your stationery picture
with Paint Shop Pro 6. The tutorial will end with a hyperlink
to two text files that you can copy and paste the html code
for setting up your stationery. One text file is the code and
the other text file explains what you need to change in the
code to add your stationery picture file; text font, color
and size along with the scrolling ticker. Now on with the
tutorial ~ enjoy and most of all ~ have fun! :o)
STEP ONE
Step one begins with selecting the picture you
would like to use for your stationery ~ remember
not to big now. I prefer tube file pictures but
the choice is up to you, of course. Why a tube
file picture you might ask. Well, because you can
select just the picture and it will blend in much
better with your background. Now just leave this graphic
set while we prepare the stationery box.
Step One: Choose picture for stationery
STEP TWO
Step two will have you opening a new file. Go to
file and click on new then set-up the file as shown
in the picture below. REMEMBER: the height of this box
will depend on the height of the graphic you chose in
step one. Adjust the height about 10 pixels more than the
actual height of the graphic.
Step Two: Open a new file
STEP THREE
Once you have opened a new file you will need to
add a new raster layer. Go to Layers, New Raster Layer
as shown in the picture below.
Step Three: Add a new Raster Layer
STEP FOUR
Now set-up your new raster layer as shown in the
picture below (this should be the default but just
in case you can double check the settings).
