Republic of Shireroth recognized!
Both Nations See Peace Before Them
The Flying Islands of Jasonia and the Republic of Shireroth have both signed a treaty securing diplomatic relations. The treaty consisted of mutual recognition, friendship, and a ban on both military and non-military attacks on each other's citizens. Such a treaty fits perfectly with FIoJ philosophy, so it comes to no surpass that it passed unanimously.
At the beginning of the RS's history, FIoJ was reluctant to approach them with such an offer, preferring to see if the country could handle itself alone for a short period of time. After a week, Jasonian was satisfied with the progress and opened relations. Today, the relations have been secured.
While commenting on a different topic, Jasonian said, "...I wish it (RS) all the growth and activity it can get! Having a new powerful nation would help even out relations."
Now that the
nations have secured relations, the RS will be added to the FIoJ history,
and RS citizens can interact with the Jasonian economy fully, including
opening bank accounts and buying stocks.

Pokémon Causes Trouble
Recent Anti-Pokémon Act
hurts FIoJ/GAPR Relations
What started out as a simple attempt to eliminate Pokémon has snowballed into an international crisis. GAPR and FIoJ relations have been hurt in the ensuring disorder.
A group of anti-Pokémon people have recently attempted to ban Pokémon from all local micronations, also including the Apolyton Forums themselves. The act had the support of the FIoJ people until The President pointed out that such an act would contradict the FIoJ policy.
Jasonian22 decided to write an article about this (this is not it), and the GAPR reacted swiftly by beginning a vote to petition the FIoJ against writing the article and slandering their citizens. The ensuring debate has accomplished little and apparently only hurt diplomatic relations between the two countries.
Following is part of the end of the debate:
"I am saying that if and only if an article is written then the actions will be taken." declared RainbowJDS.
"Until we work this out, my article will be written. You can't control the media." countered Jasonian22.
Apparently, the
debates have ended in favor of letting the citizens decide for themselves
if the act will pass. Until further negotiations occur, however, that article
will be written.
