Some Citizens Want to Take the 'Flying' out of the FIoJ

Just over two months into it's life, some have yet again questioned the fact that FIoJ is not a normal island chain. A percentage of the population, along with some outsiders, may be losing respect for the nation simply because they don't follow normal guidelines for micronation management.

"...I think that people think that we are a joke with all the Flying Islands stuff. Perhaps we should land these suckers so people can take us seriously." commented a citizen.

"Original. Unique. When I made the FIoJ, I had those in mind. I wanted to show that there WAS a middle ground between freedom and control, between peace and power. And the only way I could accomplish that goal was to not follow any existing rules. Including the one of gravity." answered the President.

Despite the best intentions of the President to create a totally unique nation, the costs of this may outweigh the benefits.

When asked if he believed this was vital to our survival, a citizen responded: "It may be. I still need to hear from more people before I could say that it was. But get ready for it."

If enough of the population wishes to finally listen to gravity, the FIoJ may lose it's first letter. Keep watch for further updates on this topic.
