The Rules

WINNING

	The Game
	Players who get more than 100 points are eliminated.
	A player wins the game and is awarded the pot by eliminating 
	the other three players.

	The Hand
	Players win a hand by either getting Gin, knocking, or 
	getting a Paint Can.
	
	GIN:
		After picking and then discarding a card, having all
		10 cards in runs or lays
	KNOCKING:
		Before picking, having 5 or less unaccounted points.
	PAINT CAN:
		After picking and then discarding a card, having all
		10 cards in the same suit.

THE SCORING

	GIN:
		The player getting Gin deducts 10 points from their score.
		All other players add the value of the unaccounted points
		in their hands.
	KNOCKING:
		The player knocking adds the amount they knock with to 
		their score.
		All other players add the value of the unaccounted points
		in their hands.
	PAINT CAN:
		The player getting a Paint Can deducts 25 points from their 
		score.
		All other players add the value of the unaccounted points
		in their hands.
	
	Cards are given the following values:
		Aces = 15 points
		Jacks, Queens, & Kings = 10 points
		All other cards = their face value

THE MONEY

	All players contribute $10 to the pot at the start of the game.
	GIN:
		Of the losing hands that are still alive, one player 
		contributes $4 to the pot and the others each contribute
		$4 to the player getting Gin.
	KNOCKING:
		Of the losing hands that are still alive, one player 
		contributes $2 to the pot and the others each contribute
		$2 to the player knocking.
	PAINT CAN:
		Of the losing hands that are still alive, one player 
		contributes $8 to the pot and the others each contribute
		$8 to the player getting the Paint Can.
	When a player has 80 or more points, and a hand is about to begin,
	he has the option to buy the 2nd place score by contributing $10 
	to the pot. 
A RUN is 3 or more cards of the same suit in a row.
Aces count as high only.
You can not wrap around. King, Ace, 2 is NOT a legal run.

A LAY is 3 or more cards of the same face value.                                                                                                                Back to the Game
