** How do you feel when you're approached on the street or meet a fan? You know soon you will need your own bodyguards! ~ Princess Melissa ~ With different people I feel as different as the people themselves. It's pretty much like meeting anyone. Last night I met someone who commented on acting as a potential profession for themselves and said they were too old for "that crap" (they were younger than me.) So sometimes people say interesting things. It's almost always an enjoyable experience. Right after that person somone else approached me and asked where the grocery store was. ** I also love to surf. Where is your favorite spot and tell us about the best curl you caught and when. ~ Princess Melissa ~ Man...that's a tough one. But I do remember one day...ah yes...as if it were yesterday...winter time...10 to 12 footers off the third break at Malibu...dropping in...hey, you know what? Gee...it's like telling a sex story or something...it really is just too perfect, too personal and too much for words...it was just GOOD. You know...? You do...don't you? ** Hi Doug. At the risk of shattering all the hopes and dreams of your fans....my question is somewhat personal. Are you, or have you ever been, married? (Or maybe you are not the kind of guy who wants to fall in love and get married.) Do you have any children? You would probably make a great dad!! ~ me ~ I have never been married though I most certainly have been in love. I don't have any children. I love children. ** What kind of moive is it called THE INVITATION? Are you a leading role or support role? Where is the set of the movie, in Canada or another place? ~ Dianne ~ The film for the distributors labeling purposes I suppose would be called a thriller. But it is about the truth to me. About spiritual matters and the cleansing of past transgressions and forgiveness. I think it is pretty cool. I just spoke with the director today and they have completed another cut of the film. I truly liked the last cut I saw. So perhaps this cut is even better. It is different in a good way. I have a lead/supporting role I guess. I say that because it is primarily an ensemble cast but there are certtain factors which when you see the film (if you so decide and get the chance) you'll see. Ah the mystery. It's cool. I feel. The setting would be Canada I guess though that is not important to the story. It really happened (the shooting of the film) in Vancouver. It was a great experience. ** How did you get the job on La Femme Nikita? Were you called back for many interviews, or did they offer it to you on the spot? What scene did you perform for the audition? ~ JessieWatchesWitchblade ~ I can't remember what scene I performed, I just remember that TJ (TJ Scott, the director of the episode and a good friend of Doug's) was laughing when I finished. He kind of had this shocked and bewildered look on his face. It was pretty crazy. I went for it. He asked me to tone it down a bit. I think TJ had to do some convincing to get me on the show. I did go for a call-back at the studio where I met Jamie. TJ, Jamie Paul Rock and Joel Surnow all took a chance on me. I'm appreciative. ** How did you feel when they asked you to return for a second episode of La Femme Nikita? ~ JessieWatchesWitchblade ~ Well I felt pretty darn good. I wanted to have some more fun and hang out with the cast and crew and do a good job. And it was fun. ** Who was the first LFN actor that you met? ~ JessieWatchesWitchblade ~ The first actor I remember meeting was Peta. She was half asleep in one of the make up chairs. We said a warm "hi" to each other and then got to know each other on set. She was cool. |
