** I remember from CQS4 that your charity is Greenpeace. Have you ever been tempted to get on a plane and join them on one of their ventures to help them stop something from happening? Personally, I've always wanted to join them when they try and stop toxic waste dumping in the ocean. ~ AndreainNC ~ Man that is great Andrea...if you are moved to do so...why not? A hero does things like that out of love. Our planet sure needs the help. I think if I got on one of those rafts and started chasing dudes killing whales or mistreating animals or dumping toxic waste I might pull a real life Fanning or something and get put in jail so I keep a little distance at the moment. Hopefully I can help in my own way...and that role I imagine will evolve as I do. ** Any bloopers or stories you can share about your experiences on the set of Mutant X? And, would you return if you were asked? ~ JessieWatchesWitchblade ~ Man...it would be nice if I could remember all the bloopers...perhaps not...but I can't remember any. It's all pretty funny. From the moment I get to set until the time I leave it is like one big blooper. I'm a kid playing make believe with all these other kids. It's fun, and it's funny. We kick and punch each other, fall down, help each other back up, laugh a lot and try to finish 8 minutes worth of TV in 12 hours. And I do my best to make it good. If all the right things were in place I would (return)...gladly. ** What was your favoirte scene from Mutant X? ~ JessieWatchesWitchblade~ I enjoyed being yanked backwards into the air when I got blasted with the energy ball at the top of the escalators. I also enjoyed the first three takes of running down the skyway at high spped. I really liked the little scene where I told Tom McCamus his face was "good to go." It was a little moment of caring and concern and trust between two floundering souls. ** Can you tell us a little more about your project entitled "The (W)hole", and also about the one you've just finished called "The Wicked Season"? ~ Jayne :) ~ The WHole is a screenplay about a young man who goes from relationship to relationship attempting to fill or complete a part of himself only to discover that a self love and a spiritual fullness comes from the taking of responsibility and the truth first. The film is on hold for now...it was a good exploration in script form but I am not completely sure it will translate as is to film the way I would like the film to be. I just finished looping some scenes for "The Wicked Season" this morning...it will now be called "The Waters Edge". The film is about a couple who face some big challenges in their relationship. Those problems become manifest and are paralelled by their involvement in some small town corruption. It will go to a film market in Italy in a couple months I believe. ** Do you scuba dive? Snorkel? Ever been on a cruise? Would you like to? Where would you like to go on a cruise? ~ Nikitas Nightgown ~ Yeah, I love to snorkel. Never have I been on an extended cruise. It might be nice to go somewhere warm and tropical...island to island...beach to beach. Might be cool to go to Alaska too. ** In reading about you...I was wondering if you've ever studied Ayurveda? If you have...what dosha are you? ~ AndreaInNC ~ Andrea, I have enjoyed reading the Ayurveda. I look forward to doing more. A lot of wonderful stuff exists there I feel. ** Has anyone approached you about being in a TV series? If so, would you take it even if it were not a starring role? And if not, then why? ~ Jeanie ~ Yeah I recently had a producer talk to me about a really cool sounding series but it didn't happen. At some point in the process it seemed that the idea of a guy my age got changed to a guy not my age for whatever "dog wagged by a tail reason" and then the whole thing just kind of went away...As for being on a series where I am not the lead...well, I guess I've already done that. Now I would have to see what the project was, what the role was, who the writers were, what the commitment of time was...where it was shooting...Do I should picky? The same considerations would also apply for a leading role. ** What did your family think about the LFN Convention? What did you do with your LFN Gemstone Award? ~ JessieWatchesWitchblade ~ My family...You'd have to ask them. For the award...well...actually...it was weird...the pink bowl went missing from the place I was staying in Toronto as I was shooting Mutant X, which left the mirror part with SOTW on the bottom of it. I couldn't see hanging the mirror on the wall and being reminded every time I looked in it that I was scum of the week. It was kinda of funny. The thing I enjoyed most was receiving the award and sharing the moment with all the people. I won't forget that. That was cool. |
