I do not know where we got this saw but I took interest in it after we got our first tractor and recognized the name. The threads on the crank-shaft were all screwed up an flattened and the left-handed fine-threaded nut was missing. I first got spark and then sat for hours sharpening and cleaning the threads with a thin sharp file. Once I was confident that they would work I then went to the task of finding that off the wall flywheel nut. As luck would have it I was searching in a huge bucket of nuts and bolts that we have accumulated and I found the needle in the haystack. The nut threaded right on and tightened up with no problem. A little cleaning of the carburetor, gas tank, and fuel line and it was running at my feet. This saw was truly resurrected.
