Brian Stanley Duecker (John Doe)

Man who jumped a fence at Barkley Regional Airport and grabbed hold of the wing of a commuter airplane as it taxied down the runway. Fell to his death when the plane reached an altitude of 300 feet. Had no identification. The story appeared on the television show "Unsolved Mysteries." In 1999, Brian Dueker's stepmother did an internet search about her missing stepson. She found information about the man who fell from the plane, and contacted a reporter from the Paducah Sun. Identification was made when "John Doe's" fingerprints matched Brian Stanley Duecker. Bottom photograph is a photograph I took before "John Doe" was identified. Buried in Oak Grove Cemetery, Paducah, Kentucky.
