Intern experience Probation Officer Assistant Kitsap County Juvenile Center Port Orchard, WA. Spring and Summer 2001 Assisted probation officer with the overall caseload of juvenile offenders. Case management skills and transition planning skills were used in this position. School visits were conducted and documentation was done. Social Worker Assistant Washington State Department of Social and Health Services Bremerton, WA. Fall 2001 and Winter 2002 Assisted social worker with overall caseload of clients. Supervised family visits and documented on the interactions between the parents and children. Went into the field for home visits and client community collaborations. Communication skills important in this position.
