History: There was a time when gods ruled over all things. They were worshipped by all beings and admired for their steady hand of rule. No one can say for sure what happened; many believe the gods began to argue amongst themselves about how things should be delt. Others believe that people stopped looking to the gods for advice. In either case, the gods numbers grew slim. Bllions became millions...millions became thousands...thousands became hundreds.... Finally, the only pure offspring were three females; Naomi Mizumi, Natsu-hi Masagora, and Aya Ohkawa. They were the best of friends, but all good things must come to an end. Naomi traveled to the planet known as Earth to start a new life, away from the problems that the gods were then facing. She met a human there in whom she fell deeply in love with. The man was quite strict, so Naomi kept her lineage secret from the human. They married and lived together for a long time before Naomi finally told him her secret. Instead of feeling honored to win the affections of a goddess, the man was furious with his wife. He hated anything and everything that was the least bit unnatural. He forbid her from talking to any of her friends or speaking of her heritage at all ever again, and Naomi, so hopelessly in love with him, agreed. Naomi's husband was angered again when he heard news of her pregnancy. He didn't want a half breed for a child, no matter how human it seemed it would still be fowl and unnatural to him. He tried to force Naomi to destroy it before it was too late, but Naomi finally put her foot down. He couldn't stop the birth of their daughter, Natsume. Naomi was thrilled, and so was her husband at first. The child was quite human and he thought that maybe no one would notice. This hope of normality faded when Natsume proved to be as abnormal as a child could get. Naomi's husband would watch in anger as the infant would stick her fingers in electrical sockets and cause city wide black outs. Natsume never cried, when she wanted something it would simply float toward her. When she was angry windows would break, walls would snap, surges of electricity would explode the lights. Naomi found it impressive that a half breed could be so powerful, but her husband thought otherwise. Many times the man tried to destroy the girl, but she either got the best of him, or Naomi would prevent it. Natsume grew older and even more powerful, but after several warnings from her father she knew not to use her powers at all. When Natsume was old enough, Naomi told her of her lineage against her husbands will. Natsume was taught enchantments and ancient spells of her race. Her father also agreed to teach her martial arts, and he never went easy on her. When her father drew a sword during their practice, Natsume panicked and ran to her mother for help. Naomi then decided it was time to pass on her sword to Natsume. The sword was longer than Natsume's entire body at the time and it took her a long while to learn to weild it correctly. When she did learn, she didn't hesitate to fight her father again with her new weapon. The mysterious properties of the blade only angered her father and he became outraged when Natsume bested him in combat. He had it with the girl and he openly beat her. Whenever Naomi opposed this, he simply beat her in the same fashion. Naomi's love for him was too strong and she didn't oppose him, Natsume was too scared and hurt to oppose her father as well. He insisted that Naomi teach her how to be a proper Japanese female, and Naomi did. Natsume learned how to cook, how to clean, how to present herself properly, and most importantly, how to act in a man's presence. Natsume's cheerful attitude was lost within all of her house wife practice and her spirit was broken from the hatred her father felt for her. Natsume felt even more alone when her mother stopped acting the same way she once did. Naomi became quiet and cold toward her daughter, and her father became angry and abusive. One day, Natsume had enough. When he father rose to struck her, she easily destroyed the human. Natsume was shocked to see her mother rush toward her in attempt to save her husband, and acting on impulse, Natsume destroyed Naomi as well. In her despair, Natsume also destroyed the entire city she lived in. For several days she lied curled up against the ground in the center of the blast site, weeping to herself. She cried until she could cry no more. She then felt such a deep emptiness that she convinced herself that she was nothing. Carrying her sword as her last memory of her mother, Natsume left the planet. She set out for the planet of the gods to finish what she had started. If she had to suffer then everyone else should as well. She wanted to end all existence, including her own. When she came to the planet, she was met by two other demi-goddesses. Ayemi tried to stop Natsume blind rampage, only to be thrown aside like a rag doll. Natsume turned to face the other girl, Megumi, when a bright flash of light swept over the area. When the light faded, Megumi was still there, but she looked different to Natsume. She quickly concluded that some sorcery brought this new woman here and the two fought. Neither won the fierce battle and both decided to retreat. Natsume left the planet, deciding she would return at a later date. She realized she didn't have to when Ayemi destroyed the planet herself, so Natsume moved on. She silently destroyed planet by planet, brutally slaughtering all who stood in her way. She was emotionless and quiet by day and at night she would find a place to stay and weep to herself. She continued destroying civilizations until she came back to the Milky Way, where it all started. Natsume was terrified to face her past, but she pushed her fears aside and went to the planet, starting her rampage on the human race. It was then that she met a man of her skill level, someone that she could not only defeat but she couldn't even if she wanted to. Natsume's life changed forever the day she met Mirei Mirai. She fell in love with him after a long time of arguing and fighting and the two married. She now has two children and stands as 2nd commander of the Death Bringers. Natsume keeps to herself about her past as much as possible and still, many of her abilities are yet to be discovered.
