Holland's Jug Stompers are back in Holland's Jug Stompers play all manner of Jug Band and old-time music from the 1880's to 1940's, plus 50's/60's oldies and contemporary music dragged kicking and screaming into the gutteral realm we call "Creeps Music", PLUS oodles and oodles of our own original numbers, destined to be hits in the far-flung future long after everyone is dead. Membership fluctuates from 3 to 12 persons, sometimes more, utilizing everything and anything to get the job done, including but not limited to guitar, piano, banjo, violin, accordion, mandolin, kazoo, harmonica, whistle, jaw harp, trumpet, toy xylophone, wood blocks, washboard, tuba, didgeridoo, ukelele, sleigh bells, tuned glasses of water, and banging on a shopping cart. Sometimes even a jug. HJS plays primarily in the state of Kentucky but are always available for any gig, especially if food, liquor and other inducements are offered.
