The schematic was in RCC for 1949-50 under Electrohome. Strangely, both the tube layout diagram on the radio case and in RCC has two tubes reversed from the way they are in the radio. The 12SF7 tube is unusual. It also has a wave trap circuit which is not common for radios of this vintage. It is intended to suppress the pickup of logwave maritime radio signals that are at the IF frequency. The alignment instruction do not mention how to adjust it.
When received it was working. The knobs and grille clothe were stained brown, possibly from years of cigarette smoke. It was missing the pilot light and had a noisy volume control. Two electroytic caps had been replaced clumsily, something of a butcher job. I recapped it throughout, cleaned the cabinet and touched up the stain, repainted the speaker grillwork, and relaced the grille clothe. I replaced the line cord and performed an alignment.
