It has a nice wooden cabinet in good condition with attractive gold grille cloth. The inside of the flip up lid has a nice decal with the RCA Victor "Nipper" logo, labelled "His Master's Voice" and "Victrola".
The turntable has 16, 33, 45, and 78 rpm speeds and a flip over needle, automatic changer, and is made in Great Britain by BSR.
The tuner has AM and FM and a single tone control. The unit is stereo in that it has a stereo amplifier and can play stereo records. The FM tuner has connections for an optional multiplex decoding unit which is not present. This was pretty common during the time this unit was made and would provide stereo FM, but the cost of the decoder was quite high so it was optional (some were solid state, I believe). Today, marketers would have called it "FM stereo ready".
It has two large 10 inch speakers and two 4 inch tweeters. There are connectors on the back for additional external speakers. t has an AM loop antenna and FM twinlead dipole antenna inside, which external AM and FM antenna connectors on the back.
All in all, not bad for something that was being thrown in the trash!
