My Dear Son Joey,
Of all the things I wanted to do for you: nurse you, hold you, play with
you, teach you. The only things I can do are remember you, cherish you, and
love you. Because of you my life has forever been changed. My choice it to
put aside all the terrible pain and longing and look to the gifts you have
given me : Compassion, understanding, and appreciation. Your tiny, beautiful
face is forever branded in my mind. you have given me something to look
forward to in the afterlife. Until the time when we are once again together,
I will be loving you with all my soul.
